Thespian Michaels

Esmi Fernau

Thespian Michaels cannot remember a time when he did not communicate daily with Light Beings who took him in the spirit to other worlds, times and dimensions. There, he was shown sacred records, temples and special places and clearly remembers speaking unknown and forgotten tongues. At three years of age he would nightly sit in lotus position carrying on fluent conversation in bizarre languages with people others could not see. This connection with the numinous would remain with him throughout his life At age sixteen, following the death of his mother, he gave intuitive readings to his schoolmates and, while working at the Beverly Hills library, read hundreds of metaphysical books.
Thespian lives in Hawaii, on the windward side of Oahu. His unusual compassion and empathy combined with an intuitive recognition of people's personal issues has surrounded him with an impressive following. He and Esmi met in Los Angeles and recognized each other's soul on the spot. Close friends ever since, it was inevitable that the Mysteries of Clear Light would be a joint project.
Esmi Fernau grew up in wartime Europe, lived for a time in Indonesia and for many years in Hawaii. Throughout her life, she was always marginally involved with the movers and shakers of the moment and became acquainted with many of the luminaries of the day in literature, art and fashion. Frequently she would be at the center of events without being involved in them. She met the Nixons and Eleanor Roosevelt in Jakarta and Eldridge Cleaver and Nat Burbridge, then president of the NAACP in San Francisco. The sixties in La Jolla brought together psychologists such as Carl Rogers and Alan Watts with world-class physicists, economists, and political activists, all drawn to the intellectual climate of the new UCSD campus. Only in retrospect did she understand why she had been so consistently exposed to the famous (and infamous) of the time. Clearly her eclectic exposure to a vast number of lifestyles is what allows her to do justice to The Mysteries of Clear Light. She could not have understood the implications or the breadth of the work without her prior experiences.

Esmi Fernau has recently moved to the mainland and currently lives near San Francisco.
